Summer is here in Mid Silicon Valley – I think. Don’t know where the summer weather is right now.
There are a lot of fun events that you’re not going to want to miss. Here are a few events on the Mid Silicon Valley Summer Weekly Weekender
The 2017 Central Park Music Series is Thursdays 6 to 8 pm.
You can bring a blanket or chair to sit on – I’ve seen people bring camping tables too. You can bring dinner or get it there from local restaurants.
June 22 will be the Native Elements
June 29 is High n’ Tight
They’re setting up the rides for the San Mateo County Fair coming June 10th through the 18th.
I saw a truck pulling a ride on 101 the other day – it took me a minute to figure out what they were towing!
Redwood City’s Event Calendar will keep you busy! Really busy.
Movies on the Square in downtown Redwood City are Thursdays at 8:45 pm
June 8 is Space Balls
June 15 will be Trolls
June 22, Passengers
June 29, Sully
The next 150th Redwood City Anniversary Magic Lantern 3D Light Show will be June 13th – 8:30 to 8:50 pm. It’s very quick but also very cool.
Music in the park is Wednesdays at 6 pm.
Music on the Square is Fridays at 6 pm. The least attended will be this Friday when the Warriors are playing. You might want to take advantage of that because these events are PACKED. People get there several hours early to save a place to sit.
You’ll find parking on the corner of Veterans and Middlefield, 1017 Middlefield Rd. Another lot to try at located at 900 Middlefield Rd, Redwood City. It’s smaller so you might not have luck. The parking lot under the movie theater is sure to be full most of the time but it’s located at 830 Jefferson.
